Babylonstoren is a must-visit for anyone exploring the Cape Winelands, it’s one of the most iconic destinations in this region. This historic farm, dating back to 1692, has a unique farm shop, located within a refurbed rustic building, offering fresh produce, artisanal bread and homemade preserves. You can also find a variety of handcrafted goods, from soaps to ceramics. Keep an eye out for the cold-pressed olive oil and farm-produced charcuterie – two of our favourites that make perfect gifts or delicious additions to your kitchen. While visiting the farm, take the time to also explore their gardens, inspired by the Company’s Garden in Cape Town. And pop into their wine cellar to taste some of their award-winning wines.
