If you’ve got a soft spot for elephants (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t?), the Lebata Elephant Hall at Letaba Rest Camp is an absolute must-see. The museum features life-sized skulls and tusks, including an impressive set from one of the famous Magnificent Seven elephants. You’ll learn about elephant behaviour, biology and the conservation challenges facing them today. Kids (and curious adults) will love the interactive displays, while history lovers can dive into the stories behind the famous elephants that once roamed the park.

The gallery displays intricate works by top local and international artists who bring Kruger’s wildlife to life through various mediums. Kruger Park Rock Art
Kruger’s rock art sites, scattered throughout the park, offer a glimpse into the lives of the region’s early inhabitants, the San people, who left their mark on the landscape thousands of years ago. These paintings depict hunting scenes, animals and spiritual figures, capturing the connection between humans and wildlife in the area long before it became a protected park. Guided tours to these rock art sites allow you to experience this ancient art form up close, with guides explaining the historical and cultural significance behind each painting.
