Scheckter’s Raw

Scheckter’s Raw was founded by Toby Scheckter, a former professional racing driver turned health enthusiast. Inspired by a desire to promote wellness through nutritious and delicious food, Toby opened Scheckter’s Raw in Sea Point. The restaurant prides itself on using organic, non-GMO ingredients to craft nutrient-rich dishes, a colourful mix of plant-based dishes that always hit the spot. The raw pizza, with its flaxseed crust and fresh veggie toppings, is a winner – it’s tasty without the guilt. We also love their buddha bowl, which combines quinoa, kale and chickpeas into a wholesome meal.

Wild Eatery

Wild Eatery is a must-visit for vegan adventurers in Cape Town. This spot takes plant-based dining to new heights with its innovative menu, rustic yet cosy interior and friendly staff. The wild veggie burger, made from locally sourced vegetables, is a standout – it’s flavourful and filling without being heavy. Another favourite of ours is the foraged mushroom risotto, which showcases the rich, earthy taste of wild mushrooms. When it comes to sustainability, Wild Eatery doesn’t stop at locally sourced ingredients, they are also committed to using eco-friendly packaging and have set waste reduction practises in place. Wild Eatery is perfect for those who want to explore the untamed, natural flavours of vegan cuisine in an inviting setting with like-minded individuals.
