We’re loving Anatomy Design’s 2023 Cape Town showroom, which brings a touch of Joburg’s glitz to the De Waterkant design hub. Founded by Andrea Kleinloog and Megan Hesse, their award-winning furniture brand has made this intimate space feel like a perfectly curated jewel box. Located among some of Cape Town’s best design stores, the showroom features a mix of larger statement pieces, like their elegant sofas, and smaller items such as mirrors, vases and scatter cushions. It’s the perfect blend of Joburg glamour with Cape Town’s laid-back vibe, and we always find ourselves tempted to take home something special every time we visit.

The space itself feels like a bit of a treasure hunt, with beautifully crafted pieces like solid oak tables and their popular Contour benches on display. Everything is designed with both quality and function in mind, and you can see they’re on a mission to change the game in local furniture design.
